Quickscat surface winds around Bermuda today...

Today will be the best day this week to be out in the Blokart.  With the forecast of winds westerly 40 to 50 knots, with occasional gusts to 70 knots in possible showers; well that would be the best forecast ever, if it was Saturday.  But alas, it is Friday and we must suffer through work with little chance of getting down to Clearwater.

Last weekend we did go out in some pretty rad conditions though, and the GPS gave us a max speed reading of 61.9kph - woohoo!  Who knows what we could hit on a day like today, considering it was only blowing 25-35kts last weekend.  

In any case, Bermuda is battening down the hatches today.
